ABL Attended Society of Toxicology Meeting
ABL scientists and staff attended and exhibited at this year’s Society of Toxicology meeting in San Antonio, Texas from March 10 to March 14. The Society of Toxicology (SOT) is a professional organization of scientists from academic institutions, government, and industry representing the great variety of scientists who practice toxicology in the US and abroad. The annual SOT meeting is an opportunity for scientists to present their latest findings and to discuss the latest developments in toxicology.
The five themes of this year’s meeting were:
- Application of Systems Biology to Toxicology
- Biomarkers for Exposure Assessment, Safety Evaluation, and Translational Medicine
- Effects of Nanomaterials on Biological Systems
- Molecular Basis of Genetic Variability and Susceptibility to Toxicants
- Regulatory Science: Advancing New Approaches for Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment.
