ABL Inc.’s Employee Safety and Business Continuity

Dear Business Partner,

Given the exceptional situation presented by and containment measures implemented for the Coronavirus (SARs-CoV2) COVID-19 outbreak, ABL, Inc. has taken necessary steps to ensure the safety of its employees, visitors, and assuring business continuity.

Regarding our ability to maintain our development and manufacturing schedules. First, ABL, Inc. continues to monitor our supply chain for long lead time items and consumables.  Procurement of items in support of scheduled activities has been completed.  Additional orders of commonly used consumables, is underway to secure inventory to support future manufacturing activities.

Second, ABL, Inc. will make every effort to: 1) maintain all operations supported by our Rockville, MD facility; 2) preserve the GMP status of our facility and that of our subcontractors, and 3) restart operations, if needed, as quickly as possible depending on the evolution of the pandemic and the instructions provided by Local, State, and Federal authorities.

Regarding measures to ensure the availability and health of our employees: Our two greatest unknowns are: 1) the health and availability of our staff and their families and 2) the freedom of movement of our staff due to additional government restrictions.  Currently, all staff that are able to work from a remote location are doing so with standing meetings being held virtually.  Our EH&S team provides timely CDC updates to ABL, Inc. staff.  Staff, while on-site or working remotely, monitor their health and will immediately communicate to their supervisor any COVID-19 symptoms or exposure.

Unfortunately, the consequences of the pandemic could prevent ABL, Inc. from maintaining our timelines in providing services to our business partners.  Our priority is to focus our available resources on the management of operations.  Our Project Managers will continue to be in regular contact with our business partners to provide project status updates.  Additional updates will be provided, as needed, should our operational status change.

If it becomes apparent that the normal activity of the ABL, Inc. services will be affected during the coming weeks to the point that operational schedules could be impacted, such information will be communicated to our customers with as much advanced notice as possible.

We appreciate your understanding and hope we will overcome this exceptional situation together as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Mr. Jarlath Keating
President & CEO
ABL, Inc.
