ABL President and CEO Dr. Thomas VanCott is one of six finalists in the running for the Executive of the Year award from the Tech Council of Maryland (TCM) .

The awards will be announced at the TCM Annual Dinner and Tech Awards Celebration on May 16, 2013.

“I am honored and grateful to be recognized by my colleagues in the biotech community with this nomination,” Dr. VanCott says. “We work very hard at ABL to collaborate with the biomedical community as a whole to help give shape to great ideas. It’s wonderful to be recognized for something that we love to do.”

TCM represents more than 500 members of the technology and biotechnology community of Maryland. The organization has two divisions: MdTech which serves advanced technology organizations and MdBio which serves biotechnology organizations in Maryland.
